Why reading books is better

One of the other answer to your question say that there are any number of distractions if you are using a phone.
That it self is reason enough to buy a book.
Also the font size on the phone is small and the glare from the screen of the phone will harm your eyes over along period of time. Which books you can underline relevant passages, make notes on the margins and really personalize your experience. You can't do that if you are using a phone.
Any way these are just my comments I go into the habit of reading books. There were not as many distractions. As there as now so it was easy to form the habit. And I am still attached to books compared to internet.

However, these are just my comments.One of my hobby is reading books and there were not as many distractions.It's easy to form a habit. And I am still attached to books compared to internet.
