Is school uniform necessary?

To begin with, I think school uniforms are necessary. Because I do see two main reasons.
First, it's not showing their status and authority. By wearing the same clothes, they'll not differentiate with their properties. So they can interact with each other well.
Second, they can be responsible. As you know, humans are sociable animals, so they like to gather together as a group. And if they wear the same school uniform, they can feel like a part of the society called school.
