Will human nature last if the world change as Apocalypes?

There are many movies about Apocalypse now. When seeing these types of movies, we usually can see two kinds of people. One kind of people are they still have humanity, and another one is people who lost their humanity. While I'm watching these movies, I used to think 'If Apocalypse comes true, what kind of person I will be?'
That was actually a difficult question. Most people would say 'Yeah, sure.' But, I'm not sure what will happen if it comes true. Have you ever think about what kind of person will you be in the Apocalypes?
