I think voting shouldn't be mandatory here's why.
Frstly we have our freedom to vote or not. For example, in democratic societies we can both vote for a candidate or go outside and play.
Secondly, if the voting is mandatory, then people will not vote without deep thinking. For example, if I don't have a candidate that I want to vote, I will just choose anyone because the Voting is mandatory
Lastly, some people say that there should be mandatory voting because the vote rates are declining, but that's not a good solution. If the rate declines, government should do something to make people vote not making vote mandatory which restricts our freedom.
