What have you sacrificed for your children?
My children have always been my priority. I spend most of my time raising my children. Before I had children, I liked to read books and exercise in my own time, I went to the Training center to play sports equipment or learn yoga. I liked to take a walk and meet my friends, but it was impossible after giving birth to a child. It is hard for me to take enough time to study English and practice my plans to learn piano. And it is difficult to meet friends or attend a social gathering with fellow teachers. My husband and I have very little time our own. We have given up going to the movies and going to nice restaurants together. We go to the playground instead of cafe. And I don‘t spend much money for myself. Instead of buying what I like, I am happier buying the children's toys. Since children's education cost is a priority, I think one more time to buy anything.
When I first met my baby, I was afraid my life would completely change and I would be responsible for my child's life. But nothing else can replace the joy of loving and watching my children’s grow. I am willing to sacrifice myself for my children. Thankfully I am growing up as a mother.
