Q) What information is the most important to you for determining in what house you live?
H : Conditions such as price and facility are more important to me than location. If it is close to my company, it's good. But I don't care about location because I'll buy a car near future. And more, of course finding area that matched to conditions is the agent’s work. But if it’s possible in the app, we can reduce the need for agent. For example, It would be nice if the app would be able to search for any conditions such as "a quiet house by the lake", "a house with McDonald's within 500M", "a house with MRT within 500M"
Q) How do you look for another property in the same neighborhood? (Is there any difficulties to find? Using map provided from that website)
S : I could by word of mouth. I could ask friends and agent if they have any leads on properties.
K : I search by MRT name or condo name. When I search location where I don’t know well or HDB, I search by map. But in case of the condo, I don’t search by map. Because there are not many condo in the area that I search and I feel it’s not accurate sometimes. I cannot find the condo that I saw in list view in map view.
K : I don’t check the amenities in PropertyGuru. I’d like to check the transportation such as MRT and bus but it’s not represented well. So I usually search bus station, bus route and street name in the “Singapore Map” app instead of the PropertyGuru. There is no information about bus route in the property app. If it’s interlocked, it’ll be more convenient.
