How to read a fraction

I've leaned how to read the fraction in english during the class. It is the first time to read these numbers. To remember it I would write down the way with deatils. The order to read first numerator and second denominator. When I read the fraction, The numerator is a cardinal number and the denominator is a ordinal number. If numerator is large the one, It should add 's' with the ordinal number. For example 2/4 = two fourths.
