It was cloudy for a long period these days and finally We've got sun back. What a beautiful day. It's good for us to go out. I'll go out for dinner with wife today.

Recently, My wife got promoted at her work but she doens't like getting promoted as she has more jobs to tend to and responsibilities as well.

When it comes to the promote, here is much easier than it is in korea as long as they are qualified with the job. It might take a couple of years to get it in Korea. In addition, People in Korea like to get promoted that means they can earn more money but here some people reluctant to it because of paying more taxes. In spite of the net income would be similar, they have to deal with more work. That's why some people would turn down the offer. I guess they prefer spending more time with their family than being at work.

According to my memory, Korea people often work overtime without getting paid. Funny thing is that they stick to lunch time. I would say they are passionate for it. Normally it's one hour in Korea. Here is around for 30 minutes and even some people just skip it and keep working. I think that concept of the lunch time is a big different between Korean and Canada.
