I've lived in Jakarta for 1 year and half so far. The life between Jakarta and Korea is quite different.
When I was in Korea, I was still student or job seeker so I couldn't do something that I want to try but only study, make a resume and prepare some job interview. I remember those stuffs were quite stressful to me. I always dreamed to go out of Korea.
At that time, It was not that important where I live. So I tried to find some job opportunity regardless of continent. I wanted to work at English speaking countries such as America, Australia, Europe and so on at first, but soon I realized that I wasn't prepared for it when it comes to work experience and language as well. So I decided to make a career in southern east Asia first because they are rapidly developing and I thought I could work using English. So I am working at Jakarta.
Jakarta was bigger city than I expected. Everything seemed so nice at first but soon Covid-19 broke out all over the world. My life in Indonesia started with Covid-19. That's why I haven't visit to Bali island yet, even though I have lived here for almost 1 year and half. What a pity life. I hope I could travel around Asian countries after the end of covid-19.
