Should we aware events that occur in other countries?

We're live in planethood. So some events affect major or minor effects on other countries. So in my opinion, we should keep up with events that allow us to help people in other countries. So in my opinion, we should keep up with events that allow us to help people in other countries. Because I do see two main reasons.
The first reason, we can help each other as citizens of the world. If something happens bad in other countries, we can donate or cheer people who struggle with serious events. For example, in Myanmar, the military occurred a coup. And Myanmar citizens fighting against the violence of the military.
The second reason is we can help to solve problems in our own society. There're many unfair events that happen. But if we keep up with these kinds of events, we can help each other and solve problems in our own society.
