In addition, I participated in the International Bio-camp and the conference of the Society of Evolutionary Studies where global talent gathers and collaborates, sharing knowledge in various fields of life science and planning to solve social problems. In this process, I had a valuable experience leading the team among global students, such as solving difficult problems through discussions with group members and presenting the final results. Since then, as a master's student in the developmental genetics laboratory at Seoul National University, I have conducted experimental and analytical research on abnormalities caused by abnormal enzyme caused by gene(genetic?) mutation. Especially , I was able to develop our experimental design skills, including setting the hypothesis, error analysis and correction and discussing findings(discussing research?).
[1] Rapid advances in modern medical science and technology have raised expectations for life extension and resulted in a more proactive response to many diseases. I chose biology as my major in my undergraduate degree because I wanted to take the path of a bioscientist who could fight disease in the era of rapid healthcare development. After finishing my undergraduate degree, I studied the drug development process and learned the experimental techniques related to this through a research experience at Hokkaido University to gain a profound understanding of major-related research.
