I'm not sure because I have no religion. I don't think religious people are particularly happy than others.
In my experience, the moment when I am satisfied with what I have without comparing myself to others, the moment when I accept myself objectively is the beginning of happiness.
And when I overcame the hardship with my will, I felt confidence and happiness growing little by little.
I don't think only people with religion are happy people.There are unhappy people in religion, and happy people among those who do not believe in religion.
