Hello. My name is Jinnyeon Kim and It means live a life helping people.
I just graduated from Kyemyeong university as a major of American studies. In this major, I learned the U.S language, culture, literature, history, politics and economics. Based on the knowledge, I would like to help people who have difficulties with cultural difference as my name meaning.
My parents are very busy when I was child, so they wanted to raise me strong. They took me to TaeKwonDo since when I was 8. I think that is why I can endure well when I suffer from hard time. If I have a chance to work U.S NPO as a intern, I can handle difficult situation with patience.

What have you been doing since you graduated?
I have been worked part time 2 months to make money for WEST program(This is the name of internship program). I have also been studied Computer Application Ability to get certification for working in office.

Why did you choose the major that you did?
I chose American studies because I like English. When I was young, English was my favorite subject. I wanted to learne more specific about what I was interested.
I could choose English Language & Literature for studying English but I didn’t. It’s because I could learn various thing from American Studies. I could learn politics, history, culture, economics as well as English language and literature. I believed that I have a lot of possibilities so I didn’t want to miss the chance to learn widely. Since American Studies learn various thing, I chose it.
