I carried a messenger bag instead of wearing a backpack to go to work because this morning was hotter than normal Spring days. But I forgot to bring my pills for depression. I tried going back home to get them but I just decided to take on the bus because I could be late at work. On the way to work, I was a bit worried that today's not gonna be easy for me because I didn't take the pills. Fortunately, though, I was quite busy putting books in the right shelves as soon as I arrived at the library which is my work place. I didn't feel down while doing my job. And I had to find some books people reserved online after 2 hours of putting the other books on the right section. It was my fault for I thought those books wouldn't be checked out. But my senior coworkers said that I should have checked those books before making a decision by myself. We had to find those reserved books until 12:10 which was lunch time for them. I felt bad. I'm a part timer at the library so I just can have lunch at home, but they can't. So, I felt bad because they didn't have lunch time until 12:30. As a new comer, I learnt another lesson. Don't decide anything by yourself.
*Sometimes uncertain things happen but rest assured your co-workers understood what had happened. As you said you learnt and always should learn from our mistakes. You might want to ask yourself specially if you were unsure. Making decisions on our own might be complicated and asking opinions or advices might be helpful anyway, remember no man is an island.
