Living things are things that can eat, grow, reproduce, and move (only animals can move). There are two types of living things. The first type is animals, such as humans, lions, and cats. Animals can move by using energy. Where does this energy come from? It comes from the food they eat. Animals grow because they absorb nutrients from food. They can also reproduce.
The second type of living things is plants. Plants take in carbon dioxide (CO₂) and release oxygen (O₂). They can grow, reproduce, and change direction, but they cannot move like animals.
Debunk: Only animals can move
This isn’t completely true. While animals move their whole bodies, some plants can move too, just not in the same way.
EXAMPLE:
Sunflowers - they follow the sun by turning where it faces.
There's also a plant (I don't know the name exactly) but it is called as "touch me not" plant. It srinks/folds itself when you touch it.
And lastly, the Venus plant that traps the insects inside.
