A mistake

I commute to work by subway.
It usually takes about an hour and forty minutes.
Today I took the subway with a wrong direction on my way back home.
The line which I usually take is divided into two direction at one point. So I should have watched carefully when I took it.
But I didn’t know that until I passed several stops for some reason. It was an honest mistake! It was a long journey to get home. :(
