CORRECTION: First of all I’m sorry that I didn’t prepare for the topic of today’s lesson which was about integrity. Next time I will be prepared for sure. Regarding my line of work, integrity is very important. I am a customs agent or it is better called here as a Customs Attorney. My job description includes the following: Declaration of Exports and Imports, Return of Good and Implementation of procedures related to Korea’s Custom Acts commissioned by clients. I think integrity has to be observed in terms of Trade compliance and utmost effort to follow rules and guidelines mandated by the law on this matter.
If I didn't comply as mandated with the Customs Law, I can be charged or maybe imposed a strict penalty. I would lose my job and most of all lose my integrity.
