So I've searched for service to send my question to you on Joy Eng. web page, and I found this service. (Yay!)
So here is my question.
What is different between maybe and perhaps?
How can I use them appropriately?
Thank you for your time in advance and have a great weekend! :)
While I read your feedback for today's class, there's one thing I do not understand.

Simply put, I don't want you to use more colloquial language because you already have a solid grasp of English. I only want you to speak in a formal manner. I want you to speak with more authority so that your English is more advanced.
We mostly use maybe in informal conversations and texts. Perhaps is slightly formal than maybe and is preferred in formal contexts. This difference in formality can be described as the main difference between perhaps and maybe. In addition, maybe is mostly used at the beginning or the end of a sentence whereas perhaps can be used anywhere in a sentence.
