Here is someone who is struggling in poverty. He has a low salary and needs more money because his current salary does not guarantee his future. But it is difficult to get a higher salary with his current abilities. In this case, he should take the action to try or improve his situation. For example, after work, he can do other jobs to get additional income or he can study to upgrade his abilities. It will lead him to get a higher salary. Here is someone who gets the same salary as the above person. Although he is not satisfied with his salary he has already saved enough money so a shortage salary is not a big problem. And he is learning new things while he is working and he likes what he is learning. Then he doesn’t need to try and improve his situation. Because he is satisfied with what he is learning and working there even if the salary is low. He thinks it would be better to spend time on what he wants to do in his free time instead of trying and improving some things because it will take a lot of energy to try and improve a situation; it can make life less happy.
