** High School (2016.03.01.-2021.02.28.) 1st-grade homeroom teacher for 4 years, 3rd-grade homeroom teacher for an year, and teaching music and psychology
2. reason for application and Future plans
Before COVID-19, I can confidently say that I was a teacher who tried for students with pure passion than anyone else. In aspect of subject, I thought the next sentence as my educational belief. “The men who has music in his soul will be most in love with the loveliest. - plato”I tried to help students gain warm and beautiful emotions and culture necessary for daily life through musical experiences. On the homeroom side, I tried to teach students the power of growth that admitting their mistakes can give, cheer for a student who has a low grade until he can learn with intrinsic motivation, help students who want to quit smoking or biting nails, and constantly look at them.
However, recently I thought there was something wrong with me because I emphasized superficial goals (grade, college entrance examination) for students. I felt lost myself when I saw myself not providing enough opportunities for review except evaluation and not having deep conversations with students.
For this reason, I need to stop for a while and check my mindset again. after study, I want to return to my place and help students love themselves with warm music, value the time given to them, and grow into people who function properly in society.
