When I worked for a cafe as a kitchen assistant in Australia.
There was a problem I recognized there.
Every staff used to get off work exactly at quitting time.
The problem was that when quitting time was coming, everyone roughly wrapped up cleaning duties.
When we did that like this, we had to spend cleaning the rest of the cleaning the following day.
I felt that was waste of time.
So I always tried to help them wrap up their duties.
One day, when my duty was delayed, they helped me.
Our cafe Naturally got an atmosphere of helping each other.
My action with responsibility changed the atmosphere of our cafe.
If you ask me why I didn't try to express my opinion.
I will say that because their culture exist. That can be their culture, habit or something like that.
And I was a new team member. I was diffident about saying my opinion.
They could feel like they were ordered by me.
At that time, I thought that would be better. I thought what I helped them is better than what I advised.
Thank you!

When I worked (for) at a cafe as a kitchen assistant in Australia, there was a problem I recognized there.
Every staff used to get off from work exactly after our shifts end. (quitting time.)
The problem was that when quitting time was coming, everyone roughly wrapped up the cleaning duties.
When we did (that) things like (this) that, we had to (spend cleaning) do the rest of the cleaning the following day.
I felt that was a waste of time.
So I always tried to help them in (wrap up) doing their duties.
On other days, when my duty was delayed, they helped me.
Our cafe naturally got an atmosphere of helping each other.
My action (with) of responsibility changed the atmosphere of our cafe.
If you ask me why I didn't try to express my opinion, I will say that because their culture exist. That can be their culture, habit or something like that.
And I was a new team member. I was diffident about saying my opinion.
They could feel like they were (ordered) manipulated by me.
At that time, I thought that would be better. I thought (what I helped them is better than what I advised.) that helping them is better that advising them.
Thank you!
