Many foreigners mention that Korea has good best security. They were surprised that if they put their phone, notebook or wallet on the table in cafe at a while, no one took will take it. They said it’s impossible to happen in their country and I couldn't agree more.. I agree with that. They asked the reason. Some of the people guessed some reason. They told me some of the reasons and they even made a guess. One of the reason is that there are a lot of CCTV in Korea. Another reason is that people really care about what people’s looking at. when people are looking around. It could also be part of the reason. But I didn’t agree totally. For example, China has most number of CCTV in the world. But there are a lot of thief in China. It is impossible to put belongings on the table in public place. I have to keep my belongings with me every time in China. If I’m not be careful at any moment, I’ll get pickpocketed. So I usually used pocket or bag with zippers. Some of my friends around me experienced that. Some of their were stolen bike was stolen, electronic bike and iPad in China. When they were stolen, they reported will report to police. But they felt that police didn’t have will to catch thief. Police in China only focus on maintenance of communism system. If they think someone who threat their system, they immediately find them and catch. Chinese aren't also no expecting that police will catch thief for them. When I was in Korea, I freely asked to people using my phone to take my photos.I could ask people to take a photo of me. But it’s not easy to do that in other countries. I always observed who is reliable one. Even though When I was travel in Europe. Whenever I asked to people using me phone to take my photos, I worried that they just pretend to take me photo and just run away with my phones. Even in on my trip to Europe, I feel so anxious whenver I ask someone to take a photo of me. I'm afraid that they're just pretending and they would run away.
