I have experienced medical volunteer work in GYN and pediatricsI learned how to determine that a new life was created by checking the cardiac activity of the fetus in the GS through sonogram. Also, I was able to learn about the procedures that were conducted at the right time to check the health of the fetus, such as NT, 3D Ultrasound, and NST.In pediatrics, I learned how pediatricians design appropriate examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning based on the condition of each infant, so that they could be vaccinated and diagnosed at the right time. Through the experience at the hospital, I was able to realize the importance of the role of doctors, the importance of collaboration, and the importance of their responsibilities. It has strengthened my passion to become a doctor and also made me realize how important patient-centered care is. Patient-centered care will be expanded with AI technology, which will change the paradigm of the physician's role. According to this, I believe the broader concepts and methods of health care will become more necessary. While taking the Stanford online course,I've been thinking about how digital health technology, including AI technology, can improve access to healthcare services for vulnerable people, and how we can strengthen patient-centered care by collecting patient data. I believe one of the most important elements in this process is communication.
