At first, I naturally got to start teaching when I was a freshman of college which was 18 years old in international age. Since the first grade of university students are pretty skillful at entrance examination art and get paid kind of inexpensive monthly pay as a part time teacher. I taught entrance examination art for 12 years and after then I have been teaching adults how to draw and painting how mostly wants to learn art as a hobby.(= after then I have been teaching art as a hobby to adults)
Looking back, When I was a Entrance exam art teacher I felt a heavy responsiblity to teenager students for their university acceptance. Since in Korea entering the highly ranked university is one of the most significant thing among Korean. So teenagers had to all about the intense and fierce competition for university place and art specialized middle school and high school. It`s not bad setting on a goal and setting our mind on that for once in our lives. Just it doesn`t have belong to entrance exam though. Recently awareness about entrance collage and the core value has changes among some of new generation. Still Korean tend to share one common value though. Core value and expectation of Korean society is changing variously from one stereotype little by little.
I`m haran. I run an art studio.I have been running an art studio for almost 3 years.
